This was a Sub Station with 2 others at North Hill N6 and Alroy Road N4, the Central Station in Tottenham Lane was in use until 1963

- Roger Parncutt: Hornsey Fire Brigade also had 3 Sub Stations at North Hill N6, Queens Ave N10 and Alroy Road N4. Built 1899, closed 1926 and subsequently demolished, when a new station opened in nearby Fortis Green
